Handy base for exploring Akaroa. Reasonably priced and well-appointed room, a hair dryer, a spa bathtub, and a walk-in shower in the room. Excellent and perfect location opposite the beautiful lake on the quieter side of Akaroa, very good facilities.

Would recomand staying to anyone. The property is fairly clean; themed rooms; comfortable bed. The staff are excellent, and the host too. It has exceptionally nice location right on footpath, in a very relaxing area. The Little Bistro, where you can eat lunch, is at a walking distance from the hotel. A nice touch is also the strong beverages in the main bar.

The rooms were great modern and well-designed and view of the mountain and nature was pleasant!

Close to the beach, great location just off restaurants and shops in walking distance and Akaroa has to offer.

Quite uncomfortable area.

We lived in the penthouse apartment with shower and comfortable beds plus balcony. It offered very good service and good food too.

The hotel was modern and the staff were fantastic friendly. We lived in the penthouse apartment with a bathroom, bedrooms, as for instance. Had strong drinks in the main bar in the evening.

All the staff was amiable and fairly friendly, tackled my issues. The location was excellent and lovely, next to the bay-tour buses and a very short walk to the main village.

The total stay was really nice for a quick visit. The location was good and gorgeous, for example, a whimsical garden was just a short walk away from the hotel. Plus, it was really close to surrounding mountains, eateries and the wharf and shops and cafes and walking tracks.

I recently stayed at the Village Inn in Akaroa for one night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I was given a comfortable and spacious suite with cooking facilities and a good shower. The location of the hotel is excellent, being right next to the main eating outlets and within easy access to the main shopping area. Additionally, the hotel is situated on the bay front, adjacent to the jetty, which made it very convenient for all the activities. The sheets and towels were clean, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful.

I strongly recommend this hotel.

Location: the hotel was close enough to the harbour and hills, the centre of the village across the road from the waterfront with great views of the harbour and surrounding mountains, and restaurants & shopd. It also was by coach to venues away from the Akaroa township.

Romantic room, stylish with fairly clean bathrooms.

The view to the sea is absolutely gorgeous, the room is spotless and carpeted. Its staff are incredibly welcoming and very pleasant, I truly enjoyed it.

During my stay, I found the hotel to be an ideal location, close to the waterfront, restaurants, and shops providing maximum convenience. Besides, the staff members were very friendly upon check-in and check-out, making me feel welcome and comfortable. Furthermore, the hotel was very clean and well-equipped, ensuring a cozy and relaxed stay.

It was clean place, staff were super-friendly, and I enjoyed my airy room. The main bar was comfortable and the drinks were alcoholic. The free parking was on site, friendly service. Nice place to stay, didn't feel like leaving.

This place has an amazing location with breathtaking views, the bed was really comfortable, and it was conveniently close to a place called Murphy's on the Corner where we could grab quick meals just a short distance away.
